Fact: Australia's best ever batsman averaged less than 100. That's rubbish
Fact: Kevin Pietersen averages 121 |

He certainly has the potential!
With Harmison - he was the only glimmer of hope for England apart from the prospect of rain saving them! |

Hoi, SirDrake! If Bradman had scored just 4 runs in his last ever innings he'd have averaged 100!
Will Pieterson keep that up?
And how many catches did Bradman drop? |

| Kevin Pieterson is amazing! Hes got bags of potential and his batting along with Harmison's bowling (and maybe that amazing run out from quite far out by Ashley Giles) were the only things that stopped England from being a total embarasment. |

But England once had players that could turn a defeat into a win single-handedly (eg Botham). not just help avoid embarassment.
And his attitude isn't good. I'm sure he'll be thinking how good his Test average is (yes SirDrake, 121! ) rather than about his 3 dropped catches.
What will he think about if he gets 2 ducks next test? His average will then be 30.25. |

| Pietersen is only a new comer, he has hardly played any cricket, you cant even think about comparing him to bradman. I'm not really much of a bradman fan, i dont even think he was all that good, but pietersen has a huge way to go to get to bradmans level |

I totally agree with that!
He has had a great start to his career and he has potential!

I certainly agree with you.
you guys, the ashes is over and pieterson's test average has dropped to 45. now compare that to bradmans. bradmans is way higher than pietersons. i know pieterson made a good performance in his first test and had an average of 121 which is amazing but you can't just judge a player on 2 innings. a player has to be judged over a long period of time. you have to look at home performances and away performances. you have to look at consistency. |
