England played very badly and could not handle pressure. They need to learn from the mistakes and what do you think their mistakes.

One of the main mistakes is not to prepare enough before series. Another is to use Ashley Giles who had not had enough practice for series.

What do you think of their mistakes?

You thought you could beat us - that's one mistake.
Maybe you would have put up more of a fight if you
thought that you were the Underdogs, instead you thought
you were the favourites - that was wishfull thinking wasn't it.

Why do I say that..?
In 2005 Australia played very poor cricket and yet we still
managed to put up a fight. The 05' success went to your heads
and you thought you were better then what you actually are,
and if you are as good as what you say, Adelaide should have been
a win for ENG and you should have atleast won one other game.
In this series, ENG didn't actually play that badly, at times you did make
us fight, but you didn't have the talent to hold on to any advantage that
you conjured up.

And yes, letting Troy Cooley go was just dumb to say the least.
Now it could very well be our up-and-coming pace bowlers who
make you pay for many years to come. And not only will ENG use
swing as weapon in '09, us Aussies will aswell and probably to better
effect.

Another mistake was calling us 'Dad's Army'... You were up for a
hammering when you started being stupid and calling us names
like that, and you ended up getting the biggest beating in 86 years.

This ENG team went from being the best Ashes side you've had in
2-3 decades, to being the worst you've had in Ashes history in the
space of just 16 months. Well done...

Well I don't think the English media was as confident as the team, but in any case, what was wrong with thinking we could win? Flintoff was hardly going to say 'we've got no chance' was he? He said at the start of the tour that it was going to be tough.

England has not suddenly become a bad side since the 2005 Ashes. We drew in India last winter and beat Pakistan at home - without Flintoff. There's no disgrace in losing to Australia, who everyone accepts is in a different league. But don't expect to win every game now that the two bowlers who've carried your attack for the last 15 years have gone.
