So ... who's going to lose to Australia in the final then?
I think Sri Lanka will do well this time. Pakistan and South Africa the other semi-finallists. I'd like to see West Indies do well in their first home WC but I don't think it'll happen for them. |

| I don't think Australia will get to run over everyone this time. I'm thinking that there's probably going to be a lot more competition from Pakistan, India, and South Africa, and perhaps even New Zealand. |

Hi Saad, fancy seeing you here!
Well for the record I don't see how Australia can fail to win again, and they can do it without even playing at 100%. But I don't think they'll be unbeaten as they were in 2003.
England are just there to make up the numbers. This has come at the worst time for them. Hopefully the next WC will come before the ashes so they won't be too jaded going into the competition. |

Do you think England's chances have increased after their better performance in the tri-nations one day series?
Its certainly not as depressing as immediately after the Ashes. |

Yea, My GOD! I'm not even an England supporter but I still thought that The 'Thrashes' series was just horrific! Australia toyed with and tortured England from day 1 of the first test right through to the end of the series. There was no sign of a fightback effort. Just horrible. England were burried into the depths of hell.
But they finally made a surprising U-turn in the tri-nations series and turned the tables on Australia. That was a great return and credit goes to England for returning Australia's Ashes favour.
Out of all honesty, even though I'm a Pakistan supporter, I would still really enjoy England winning the World Cup. But if its England vs. Pakistan in the finals...than I'd have to change my mind... |

World cup 2007 is going on now days and some of them have finished, no one can predict who will be the winner of the world cup 2007.
All the teams are in well position and they perform well. As I think that the four teams which will fight in semi final:-
Australia
India
Shrilanka
West Indies

I don't think anyone could have predicted yesterday's events!
Bangladesh beat India by 5 wickets
Ireland beat Pakistan by 3 wickets
Those results have really shaken up the draw. |

| Well West Indies are really going to struggle to make the semis after losing their first two matches in the Super 8s - it looks like being Australia, south Africa, Sri lanka and New Zealand now. I'd like to add England, but I just don't think we have the muscle to beat the leading teams enough times. |

we have watched the performance of New Zealand in this world cup. This country given tremendous performance in all his matches.
So the possibility of being New Zeland in final match of world cup has been increased.

Yea, certainly! New Zealand is - in my opinion - the most hardworking and dedicated team in International cricket at the moment. I'm backing them to win the World Cup but to be honest, I don't think they've got a real chance against countries with as much depth as South Africa & Australia. But as I said, they're a really hard working bunch of guys and it would really be a well-deserved World Cup win if they actually won.
Realistically, I think South Africa has the potential to whoop any team, but they're just chokers! They've choked on countless occasions and mark my words, they will choke in this WC as well. Sri Lanka has a good chance - they've got a good mix of young blood and depth/experience. But they'll still have to work pretty hard if they're going to beat the likes of SA and Australia.
I think at the end, Australia will win this WC. They're just that damn good! They've got immensely talented players in all departments of the game. To add to that, their players are all giving 200% effort! It just all adds up to an unbeatable team! |
