So lets have a look at englands recent display! They needed a win from the south africa game! But............ they collapsed at batting from 5 wickets for the cost of 10 runs nice work! i can understand the superb bowling from Hall but really come on we fared pretty well against Sri Lanka and Australia although lost both. And looking at our fielding doesnt look like much to be thrilled about either! In my view we need a fresh new captain and to really look seriously at the depth of our squad. Including the expensive Mahmood. Strauss was the only english batsmen that looked liked there was any resistance there! Even our great Flintoff wasnt 'great'. So another boring match lets hope we fare better in the summer although it isnt the world cup.

I agree! Despite having the biggest support team of any country in the world cup England lacked consistency and at times looked like they didn't even want to be there. I was really disappointed by the south africa where they never looked like threatening Smithy's side. Too much hype and sledging at each other and not enough focus. Vaughan... nice guy... at times a great batsman... but lacking ponting's, Smith's, or Flemming's leadership skills

Quite incredible, just finished watching England snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against New Zealand.
Surely we have to question why we bother to pay such a hopeless bunch of losers. Freddie Flintoff looks like he would be better off and happier in the pub than trying to play cricket.
Conctantly amazes me, having being brought up in South Africa, the complete lack on winning instinct ,desire and ability English players have.
They are all currently overpaid and useless, if the South African, Kevin Peterson, does not play well they just fall to pieces.
The national side is a sad joke....almost as bad as the Rugby team!
